Awesome! Glad you like it.

Recently I've also discovered, and this just cracks me up, that this technique is enormously useful when you're in a bar, & a friend needs help with clearing something that's stressing them out. You can just sit there, surrounded by punters, getting healthier, happier & better all round, and nobody has the slightest clue what you're up to - or even notices *grin*

This is great. I used to do the full tap series in my car during my commute. It doesn't look as strange, that is, until you do the whole facial contortion thing. It works well and have turned others on to the unique clearing process.

Thanks for sharing!

There's some subtlety to that - EFT taps way more points than may be needed for any issue. Often only one point is blocked. As your sensitivity improves, you can often just tap that one point for the same effect - but you do have to tap meridians. You couldn't just tap, I dunno, your elbow :)

There are little meridians on the edges of your fingers, between tip & 1st knuckles (I didn't just randomly pick them *laugh*)

The ritual/rhythmic nature of it does definitely help though, you're very right.

.. & thank you. I just haven't had much to say. Professional bloggers HAVE to post all the time - it's their job, after all. I figure it makes more sense to just post when I have something worth saying. Everyone is so busy, & time/attention starved. There's no point in just adding to the mental noise in the world. That's what I figure, anyway. I'm sure I'll kick back up again soon enough.

I used to wonder whether this would work... am glad to have found a confirmation !
Somewhere on Wikipedia there was a study that stated that the exact tapping points were not terribly important anyway. I think that the tapping serves two puropses apart from the pressure points thing: 1. It keeps the mind from wandering (just like the ritual set of bows etc in Islamic prayers !) It keeps the conscious mind on the tapping, not letting it "think" about the issue, and this lets out things from the subconscious mind.

BTW have been missing your posts lately !

That's really interesting! I love EFT, but yeah, I definitely don't need any help looking any crazier than I probably already do :) So, I'll keep this in mind :)

Sounds like you instinctively discovered this for yourself - that's so awesome!

I love it when our inner selves naturally guide us to a place of brilliance. It's such a nurturing feeling to realise we're really so well looked after.. all we have to do is get out of the way occasionally..

This is really helpful and reminds me of a technique I would do as a little kid, an instinctual tapping of the tips of my fingers in rounds. I always had trouble sleeping...ha ha not much has changed it is 3:30am...so I would tap my fingers in rounds. I had no idea that it could be helpful or that I would later discover EFT, it just felt calming.

Oh wow, that's great Lucy-Ann. Super happy to hear it. There really are a ton of useful techniques out there - & combining them all (eating well, being surrounded by loving people, giving, gratitude, exercise, energy healing, etc) works super well.

Everyone has shit in their lives, of some kind or other. Just a matter of finding anything that helps get rid of it :) Am glad EFT is resonating for you, it is a super useful thing.

Hi Simon,
I just got an EFT clearing audio from Mary Hall - it is wonderful and I am beginning to appreciate the effectiveness and simplicity of this amazing energetic healing, so completely resonated with your above post! Learning about this, and other amazing techniques (just learned of the AIM program) and of course wonderful healing food, and helping others is the key to life really! Best wishes to you Simon, Lucy-Ann
