Well firstly, re beating yourself up, that's never recommended. All it does is make you feel bad, with zero benefit.

Re NOT saying things, I'd recommend the same approach. Whenever you feel that feeling welling up inside you, release it, & keep releasing it. It'll have the same effect - lessen then completely heal the pain body, allowing you to more truly be you.

Thanks Si for this - you know the thing I realised about myself when reading this was that my pain body seems to manifest not so much in the things I say or do, as in the things I DONt say or do! so often I find myself not saying what needs to be said, whether it be to my partner, a friend or to a stranger - something that could have encouraged them , made them aware of my feelings, or simply shared a useful or necessary piece of information - it's kind of wierd. I find myself beating myself up afterwards for not being more forthcoming, for keeping stuff in, for holding back when I could have made a connection, or made someone's life better/happier/easier. Do think this could be a pain body thing? Like my pain body wants to keep me isolated, alone, disconnected? Hmmm, I'm going to keep an eye on that. Thanks for your wisdom. kathleen :)

Those are both excellent questions Jim.

First - yes, you can completely shed your pain bodies. It's relatively easy to do. Mostly you just have to decide you want them out.

In Shamanism, they have the concept of 'entities', dark beings that co-inhabit us, & influence or control our behaviour. That's basically the same thing. It's possible, for example, to reach into someone & just pull these out (I've done it, but it's a bit hard to explain for general use, so haven't mentioned it here. I like to keep this blog "here's how you can do this"). Failing that, just releasing/letting go of the reaction as you feel it - if you let go of it completely, then voila, it's gone. Next time someone else's pain body plays up, you'll feel zero reaction inside you, ergo, no pain body there. It's gone.

Secondly, a bliss body? Ahh, Jim YOU ARE a bliss body. That's your natural state of being. Our higher selves, the true us, the soul/energy part of our being (not just the meatsack), that's bliss, pure bliss. And peace. And joy. And puppies (I'm sure).

It's already here. We just cover it up in crap. The more of that we let go of (heal, meditate away, whatever), the more you can see the bliss.

"Even reducing your pain bodies by the tiniest amount results in exponentially more love in the world." Never read this theory before, but yeah, it really does! My pain body is maybe still lurking around a little (can we ever truly 100% shed it?), but I'm so much happier these days, as it's a much weaker pain body in recent years than it ever was. What's the opposite, our "bliss body"? :-)
